Ms. Alicia Tjale (nee Mtyelwa), a Chartered Accountant (SA), Registered Auditor, and Registered B-BBEE Verification Auditor, brings extensive expertise in income and debtors’ management. Her experience includes preparing budgets and forecasts, maintaining cash flow forecasts, and analyzing financial information and variances. She is proficient in compiling, reporting, analyzing, and auditing Annual Financial Statements, as well as preparing accounting records, trial balances, and financial statements.
Ms. Tjale excels in reconciling general ledger accounts, conducting bank, payroll, and creditors reconciliations, and maintaining fixed assets registers in accordance with Section 284 of the Companies Act.
Her skills extend to preparing audit reports, accounting officers’ reports, and monthly management accounts, and she has a strong background in performing ad-hoc audits and investigations into suspected fraud and non-compliance. Additionally, she is adept at preparing and submitting VAT returns for companies and individuals, and possesses extensive knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, PFMA, Treasury Regulations, Water Services Act, King II and III, and Companies Act regulations.
